This class is designed for students who are comfortable with basic
Middle Eastern dance (belly dance) techniques and terminology,
isolations, transitions, and basic Middle Eastern rhythms and finger
cymbal (zill) patterns.
At this level we begin refining and layering techniques and emphasizing
choreography, improvisation, expression, and presentation. More
sophisticated Middle Eastern rhythms are introduced and the use of
finger cymbals (zills) in the dance is intensified.
You can expect to learn at this level for one to two years.
